Mystic types of experiences are often mistaken for that which is good when in essence it is the spirit of darkness at work.

How do you know the difference between a divine experience from God and a superficial counterfeit deception of the enemy of God is through His Word.

Oftentimes there is no mention of God, The Father, The Son, or The Holy Spirit. There is no word or words spoken that are verifiable by The Word of God nor to which spirit the person is referring to.

The Book of Ezekiel exposes this wickedness as the main reason for the departure of God from the physical temple of God and why the people were destroyed or taken captive.

Throughout this study the phrase, “The Word of The LORD Came Unto Me” appears fifty times with the word “To” used instead of “Unto” on occasion and “Came” appearing prior to, on another. This was done to let us know “By Whose Authority” the prophet was speaking and it was followed by the verifiable Word of God.

Therefore, whether it’s a dream or vision or a “word” someone says to you usually beginning with ‘the spirit told me to tell you’ or ‘God said to tell you’… (“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”) 1 John 4:1 and (“Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind…”) Colossians 2: 18.
