Prior to launching into our study of Ezra, an inquiry was made regarding the “covenant of salt.”

    The answer to this inquiry sets the tone for Ezra allowing us to continue to build upon the prophetic exegesis of hidden revelations in the Word of God as we apply these examples to our lives in relation to redemption, restoration and reconciliation.

    The book of Ezra is an exegesis as the captives returned from captivity to begin to rebuild the city and temple of God in Jerusalem after seventy years in exile (almost twice as long as the children wandered in the wilderness).

    2 Chronicles continues with the reign of Solomon and continues through the scepter of Judah.

    Despite its repetitive nature, this research offers valuable insights.     As we study the first book of Chronicles, we see an expansion of Samuel and Kings, emphasizing King David’s reign. This study examines King David’s transition of the throne to his son Solomon, a name signifying peace. This decision is significant, as it symbolizes preparing to transition from a time of conflict to an era of tranquility.

    Solomon’s reign represents a harmonious period in which the focus can shift toward spiritual growth and architectural magnificence, allowing for the establishment of a lasting legacy that honors the divine.

    You will find throughout this lesson that every genealogical fact has purpose. Each detail, no matter how small, contributes to a greater understanding of our family lineage, revealing patterns and stories that define who we are today. As we delve deeper into these records, we’ll uncover that these facts are significant markers reflecting the struggles and triumphs of those who came before us.

  • 2 Kings: Miracles and Consequences

    Our transition to 2 Kings is a reminder of God’s majestic power extending from heaven to earth for humanity to bear witness.

    Elijah is about to ascend to heaven, and his successor Elisha is eager to witness this event. When Elijah offers to do something for him before he departs, Elisha requests a double portion of Elijah’s spirit.

    2 Kings continues with a demonstration of this request fulfilled as Elisha would perform twice as many miracles as Elijah.

    The paragraph highlights a shift in tone due to the kings’ rule and the people’s upcoming captivity as a result of rebelling against God, leading to the curses of Deuteronomy 28 being realized.

    This is a warning to all humanity, we can have miracles, signs and wonders surrounding us; great deliverances and success, but the moment that we turn from serving the true and living God we become subject to our fallen nature and will endure the consequences.

    “Pride goeth before destruction,

    And an haughty spirit before a fall.”

  • 1 Kings: A Divine Reign & Prophetic Journey

    Our prophetic study into 1 Kings begins with a look back over the divine reign of David. With all the chaos that occurred in 2 Samuel, profound revelations in chapter 5 went completely overlooked. Therefore, I’ll provide insight via human intent and machine intelligence to illuminate key facts before proceeding to chapter 1 of 1 Kings to explore the prophetic journey of Elijah.

    At times, I delay my main question until the end, as each chapter’s revelation brings to mind the divine insights I’ve received throughout my life, explaining why I could gather this information but only share it now.

    I recall being led to hold a meeting called the Gathering not knowing why or what it was necessarily for.

    Along the way no one could explain to me why I was experiencing God’s Grace in such a manner.

    The message emphasizes that a revelation was not fully shared until now, urging the reader to embrace what God gives them, with the assurance that it will be revealed effortlessly at the right moment.

  • Understanding the Books of Samuel: Prophetic Insight

    Welcome to the prophetic exegesis of the Books of Samuel. 1 & 2 Samuel were originally one continuous scroll. We will continue to keep them separate and provide each book with their respective PDF.   

    You will be introduced to Samuel, the Seer.  What is a seer? The simple answer is a seer sees. This spiritual insight may come through visions, divine revelations, prophecies, and hearing the voice of God audibly.

    “Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God…

    thus he spake, come, and let us go to the seer:

    for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.”

    (1 Samuel 9:9)

    In 1 Samuel, you will witness the promotion of the flesh through a king desired by the people; in 2 Samuel you will study the accounts of an anointed king after God’s own heart who allowed his flesh to become a stumbling block in his latter days reminding me of a scripture in Galatians 5:7: “Ye did run well, who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth?

    In the next lesson, we will explore the scripture 2 Samuel 5:7, which highlights David’s conquest of Zion, known as the city of David.

  • Ruth: A Virtuous Woman

    This book tells the poignant story of Ruth, a Moabite woman who displays unwavering loyalty and love as she follows her mother-in-law, Naomi, back to Bethlehem after the death of their husbands.

    Ruth’s dedication and strength established her legacy and pivotal role in David’s lineage, impacting the Bible’s story of redemption.

    Her journey exemplifies themes of faith, resilience, and the transformative power of kindness. Her story illuminates the essential place that women hold in God’s plan throughout history.

    The name Ruth means “friend” or “companion.”  Thus highlighting the importance of friendship, loyalty, and support in personal relationships. The 4-chapters of this virtuous woman is inserted between judges and prophets appointing kings as a soft, yet powerful touch, to the chaos of life.

    Those who face an unexpected end to their marriage may hesitate to consider remarrying. Ruth’s unforeseen circumstances created a life changing unexpected new beginning.

    Ruth’s decision to leave her home and seek an unknown God resulted in her recognition as a virtuous woman.

    This step of faith would cause her to walk into her divine destiny.

    “And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.” (Ruth 2:3)

  • Understanding the Book of Judges: Lessons for Today

    The focus of our prophetic exegesis are lessons for today that come from the book of Judges which takes place after the death of Joshua. Having survived the wilderness and crossed to the other side, the people appear to start off well by seeking instruction from the Lord but are soon depending upon themselves as they navigate without clear leadership.

    The final verse in this book explains the state of humanity not just at that time but gives insight to the chaos the world and believers (humanity) find itself in today as we seek for answers to why things happen and unfold in ways that seem so out of control.

    “In those days there was no king in Israel:

    Every man did that which was right in his own eyes.”

    Judges 21:25

    “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 16:25)

  • Lessons from Joshua: Following Divine Instructions

    Today our studies take us to the book of Joshua. Joshua is the successor of Moses chosen to lead the new/next generation out of the wilderness and into the promised land.

    Joshua’ journey begins with an instruction from the LORD.

    Oftentimes when we pray or have been called by God we go without instruction, but without instruction there is no clear vision on how to proceed.  The answer to every prayer is an instruction given by God that we must follow to remain in His Divine Will. Now the instruction alone is not enough, but it’s the obedience to the instruction that propels us forward ensuring that we follow in the path that has been prepared for us then we will see the promises of God unfold in our lives. 

    “Take fast hold of instruction;

    Let her not go;

    Keep her; for she is thy life.”

    Proverbs 4:13

  • Lessons from Deuteronomy: Preparing for the Promised Land

    Deuteronomy is the fifth and final book of Moses account of biblical truths as he prepares Joshua and the next generation to enter the land of promise. 

    As the baton is handed off, Moses is giving final instructions to ensure this next generation is fully equipped and prepared for any challenges they may encounter as they continue walking out God’s divine plan for humanity.

    They have witnessed the miracle of God’s Hand continuing to move to establish law, order, and deliverance through symbolic displays of His Mercy and Grace.

    “And I have led you forty years in the wilderness:

    Your clothes are not waxen old upon you,

    And thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.”

    Deuteronomy 29:5

    Although Moses is unable to enter the promised land because of his actions that appeared innocent, but were contrary to the redemptive work through Christ, we can learn from his mistake and those who didn’t survive the wilderness as we continue our journey toward reconciliation with God.
